3. The War of Art – Steven Pressfield
Although this book is geared more towards artists and entrepreneurs, anyone can be a victim of the Resistance. The War of Art is all about overcoming this Resistance, turning pro, and actually doing what you need to do so that you can create something great.
4. The MAX Muscle Plan – Brad Schoenfeld
This book will serve anyone looking to gain muscle well. As a matter fact, lifters of every level would do well to skip all the bullshit and use this book as their muscle-building manual.
5. Artist of Life: The Essential Readings – Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee was not just a martial artist and actor, he was also a philosopher and thinker. This book dives deep into his philosophies, many which will change the way you look at life.
6. Fight Club – Chuck Palahniuk
Fight club is a riveting read that deals with lots of modern-day men’s issues. It gets crazy and can be tough to follow at times, but there are tons of lessons hidden within.
7. Arnold: The Education of a Bodybuilder – Arnold Schwarzenegger
From his humble beginnings growing up in a small Austrian village to the Mr. Olympia stage, Arnold’s story is inspiring. This book will surely give you a nice kick in the ass.
8. Muscle: Confessions of an Unlikely Bodybuilder – Sam Fussell
A man literally drops everything to pursue the dream of becoming a champion bodybuilder. This book is very entertaining, and anyone who’s ever been into lifting weights will get a kick out of it.
9. Elon Musk: Tesla, Space X, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future – Ashlee Vance
A REAL look into the mind and world of entrepreneur Elon Musk, and it’s not the glamorous “save the world” image most guys have. 10. Man 2.0: Engineering the Alpha – Adam Bornstein and John Romaniello
This book is all about optimizing hormones and building size and strength—written in a fun and interesting way. Those into science-fiction (especially Star Wars) will get a kick out of this book.
